Join us and Daisy Moran, the Assistant Director of the Office of Student Inclusion, Diversity, and LGBTQ+ coordinator, virtually for her guest workshop! Daisy will be presenting  the use of group discussions and interactions, this engaging and interactive session is designed to increase awareness of mental health and its potential incidence and impact in the workplace, challenge existing stereotypes of mental illness, and explore how one might better support their colleagues

Daisy is a knowledgeable nonprofit professional who has operated at the regional, national, and global level, providing operational and policy leadership. Daisy’s involvement in YMCA global work culminated to represent YMCA at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women & the appointed representative of the World YMCA on the World Health Organization & United Nations Foundation Board of Directors project titled “the Global Youth Mobilization.”

Daisy is the recipient of the 2019 Y-USA 30 under 30, the 2020 Illinois State Alliance of YMCAs Diversity, Inclusion, & Global Engagement award, the 2020 Love Girls Magazine community Spotlight award, the 2021 Illinois/Iowa independent living center Advocate of the Year award & the 2022 Quad Cities Business Journal’s Forty Under 40.
