You are eligible to receive 1:1 career coaching from one of our volunteer Career Coaches after completing one of our HireHER workshops. Women interested in career coaching are asked to complete a career services assessment and are matched with a coach based on industry, needs, personality, and availability. Our Career Coaches provide ongoing guidance and encouragement to help you find the right job or next step in your career. A one-on-one confidential conversation with a Career Coach can help you identify:
- Needs
- Strengths
- Priorities
- Goals
- Resources
- Plans to get where you want to be!
How do I get Career Coaching?
Step 1:
Sign up for one of our group HireHER workshops. See more than one that looks helpful? You can take as many workshops as you like, but in order to be eligible for 1:1 coaching, you must take at least one workshop. Most workshops are an hour long and available virtually and in-person (post-COVID). You may also complete one of our pre-recorded Career Development Workshops on demand, which can be found here.
Step 2:
After you have completed one career development workshop of your choice, you are eligible to meet with a Career Coach. You’ll need to fill out a Career Services Assessment form to help us get to know you and your individual needs, and then you will be scheduled for a coaching session.
*BONUS* Step 3:
(Optional!) You can also get a professional outfit to wear during the interview process and a new job wardrobe once you secure employment. Learn more about our StyleHER program.
