Our speaker for this month is Hannah Howard is the Executive Director of Lead(h)er, bringing over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector to her role. A Muscatine native and Iowa State University graduate, Hannah joined Lead(h)er in 2023 and is passionate about leading an organization that empowers women in the Quad Cities through mentorship, career development and community engagement. Prior to her current role, she was the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s Director of Business Services & Community Development.

Hannah is deeply committed to helping women harness the power of mentorship and fostering meaningful connections. In 2024, she was honored as one of the Quad City Regional Business Journal’s Forty Under 40. Outside of work, she’s an avid traveler who enjoys hiking, camping, exploring QC restaurants and breweries, reading, and spending time with her dogs.

Meet Kate: Kate Rothenberger, MBA is a Financial Advisor with Toporowski, Clark & Romans, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC. With a vast educational background and years of experience in problem solving and data analysis, Kate specializes in empowering women to find their financial freedom.
Kate received her bachelor’s degree at Minnesota State University- Mankato with a major in engineering. Before joining the financial services industry, Kate worked for several years as a Process Engineer and Factory Manager for companies including Bayer and HNI. While working in the engineering industry, Kate completed her Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa with certificates in Finance and Investment Management.

Kate loves spending time with her husband, Brian and their two rescue senior pups. When they’re not working on DIY projects on their home, they love to travel, discover new restaurants in the area and visit with friends. Kate loves to travel back home to Minnesota to spend time with her nieces and nephews. During hockey season, you will find her at every Quad City Storm hockey game, cheering them on!
