Learn more about Lillie: I am a Michigan Native, but a Quad City Lifer. I am a 29 year old mom of a one year old daughter and a 16 year old dog. I am a wife. I am a volunteer. I worked in the digital and strategic advertising industry at Lee Enterprises for 10 years, traveling around the country. I loved my career and excelled. When my husband and I had our daughter Josie in 2022, our life changed. I no longer desired the travel and I was ready for a change. I looked to my connections in the community and the passions in my heart. I made the change to become a Financial Advisor because I have a heart for helping others.

Fun Fact: In 2019, even though I was deep in my career in advertising, I had a passion for financial education because I saw many friends and colleagues making uneducated and harmful financial decisions. In fact, I even won the 2019 Mentee of the Year award with Lead(h)er for organizing a workshop to educate individuals about wise financial decisions. It was to be called “Adulting 101: Finding Freedom in Finances.”

Unfortunately, we all know what happened in 2020; the plans were cancelled. But it’s funny how everything comes full circle. I am now a financial advisor and still have a passion for educating people about making wise financial decisions. I believe there is a lack of financial literacy and it is my mission to walk alongside others to make wise and educated financial choices. I feel that I have a debt owed to Lead(h)er and to folks in this community because I won the award, but the financial class/resources never came to fruition. Now I have even more access to resources, more knowledge, and the certifications to help others.
